Our Guiding Light
Chrysalis Arts Ministries is modeled after the greatest artist and creator of all, the artist who created all of the flowers in the fields and every star in the sky. Every single person on earth is a special and unique masterpiece created by this great artist. He surrounded us and filled us with tremendous light and beauty. When He looks at us, He sees the incredible soaring spirit inside us, the spirit that shines the brightest in His light, the spirit set free by His absolute and unconditional love.
Our goal at Chrysalis is to help every person to discover that shining spirit inside them, to set it free, to enable every person to shine bright as the incredible, soaring souls they were created to be. We’d like to help everyone to experience the absolute and unconditional love of the Great Creator. We’d like everyone to be able live life as He intended, with passion and purpose and and light and beauty, freely and joyfully creating, exploring, and discovering, to live a life where every person is valued and loved and belongs.
Each of us is totally unique, a hand-crafted masterpiece. We were never meant to compare to anybody else. We were never meant to feel worthless, inadequate, like our lives are meaningless. We were never meant to live in fear, or shame, or any other dark and negative thing. We were created not by accident, but out of incredible love. Each of us is here for a reason, each of us has a place and a purpose. Each of us was created with unique gifts and passions. We were not meant to live dull, unimaginative, boring lives. We were created to LIVE, to use our gifts and passions, to take our place in the great celebration taking place all around us.
The Great Artist created every color, every shape, every texture, every sound, every smell. He created waterfalls and animals and flowers and galaxies. Yet He created each of us with a spirit so breathtakingly beautiful, so powerful, so stunning, that He considers each of us to be His greatest creations, His masterpieces. He loves us each of us more than any flower or galaxy. Can you imagine how incredible your life could be if you could learn to set that spirit free, to live life as you were intended to? Imagine a life filled with this kind of ecstatic beauty, a life filled with this kind of passion and purpose, a life filled with this kind of love, a life filled with this kind of creation. That’s the life Chrysalis was created to help you live, a light of hope in the darkness of this fallen world, a rallying cry for all who seek.
