​Welcome To Chrysalis!

We provide play-based learning and development opportunities for young people ages 8-16.

Our programs are designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment, similar to the way a chrysalis or cocoon helps a caterpillar transform into a butterfly.

Chrysalis is all about creative learning and development, allowing students to play and to process at their own pace, without the kind of pressure that defines their self-worth by achievement. We don’t use grades, scores, or other performance metrics. We don’t measure success in terms of getting the lead role in a musical, or starring in a Broadway show. Success for us means helping students become free from fear and other destructive things, allowing them to become the freest, fullest, happiest and most capable people they can be.
Our activities are vibrant and interactive and engaging, based around the natural childhood instincts of playfulness, curiosity, creativity, and healthy human interaction. We sing and dance and act and build and play games and have a boatload of fun. ​Students develop problem-solving skills, creative thinking, social skills, empathy, teamwork, self-respect, respect for others, physical strength/flexibility/grace/coordination/stamina, and so much more!

​We are prayerfully seeking leaders, teachers, and churches that feel called to partner with us on this great adventure! The vision God has given for this program is one that is much bigger than any one person, one church, one community. This is a vision that calls for people of all different ages and backgrounds and beliefs and skill-sets to come together as one, as a family, as a team unified by the vision of Chrysalis.
